    Cecilie Nome

    Cecilie G. Nome is a shared graduate student at GliaLab, University of Oslo, and a neurology resident at Østfold Hospital Trust in Norway. In her research, she examines the basic mechanisms underlying the development of temporal lobe epilepsy. She is passionate about education in neurology and science communication, and one of her favorite responsibilities is teaching brain and skull anatomy to students. In her spare time, Cecilie enjoys reading and taking long walks with her dog

    Lina Okar, MD

    Lina Okar, MD, is a neurology resident and chief resident at Saint Louis University Hospital and a visiting researcher in the Movement Disorders Department at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed medical school at Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria and famil medicine training at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar before returning to her lifelong passion in neurology. Her research interests include dystonia, neuromodulation, and the intersection of neuroethics and media. She is also dedicated to education and mentorship, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence into modern teaching methods. Outside work, she enjoys coffee cupping and fine dining.

    Hanan Qaqish

    My name is Hanan Qaqish and I'm a 4th year neurology resident. I have strong interests in education, mentorship and quality improvement. I have worked to develop curricular changes on undergraduate and graduate medical education levels as well as helped work on our institutional neurocritical care fellowship budding protocols. My passions include global health equity, social determinants of health, and innovation in medicine. I hope to continue to build skills required to expand my contributions to the medical field and future generations ahead.

    Dhanya Gorty is an International Medical Graduate and a Neurology localisation nerd from Hyderabad, India. She is interested in medical education and global health.     Jorge Patino, MD

    Dr. Patino is a Chief Neurology Resident at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School and the current Chair of the Consortium of Neurology Residents and Fellows of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). He completed his medical training at Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. He is passionate about education and is part of the AAN's Resident as Educator Training Workgroup.
