Committees.
They say it takes a village sometimes. We are incredibly grateful for all the faculty members' involvement in the growth and sustainability of the NDEC. Learn more about each committee and their charters.
NEDSP Education
- Oversee the Faculty Scholars Program, Curriculum Updates & Program Evaluation
- Oversee Faculty Facilitators & Mentors; review scholar work to be distributed to other committees as appropriate (ie, a session assignment may be to create an infographic that can be shared through NDEC channels)
- Development and implementation of annual Conference content & structure
Education & Outreach
- Oversee creation of Digital Education Repository & Neurology Education Repository
- Oversee creation of public/external facing content (this includes social media, newsletter/blog, webinars or videos - however we want to build our educational materials that are external to the faculty program)
- Development and implementation of annual conference content & structure (once established)
Research
- Oversee the research component of the NDESP program (distribute REDCAP surveys, send reminders, analyze data, draft manuscripts)
- Collaborate with other committees on research publications related to NDEC
- Oversee Grant Writing, Poster/Presentation submissions to meetings
Partnerships
- Establish NDEC as a separate entity
- Build partnerships with industry and other funding sources to sustain the program and support NDEC initiatives (CME, conference, etc)
- Build partnerships with existing organizations as appropriate in collaboration with education committees
- Work with the Research Committee on grant opportunities & other funding streams
