#MedGradWishList
#MedGradWishlist is a Twitter-based mutual aid movement created and organized by @dr_amoytheemd and @AmyGDalaMD for BIPOC graduating medical students.
“This movement began as a way to thank our Black, Indigenous, graduating medical students of color for completing their final year of medical school amidst a simultaneous global pandemic and civil rights movement and for sharing their stories of resilience as they progress into their respective careers as doctors and surgeons”
In 2022, over 600 wishlists were created by verified underrepresentation in medicine of Black, Latino, or Indigenous med school graduates who requested over 10k items for their transition to residency. Check out their website, Instagram, and Twitter.

Additionally, they have inspired other movements within healthcare, including #PharmGradWishlist for BIPOC pharmacy grads and #PsychGradWishlist for BIPOC psychology grads.
